HOME CONNECTION GROUPS
—a place to develop authentic spiritual friendships where, around the Word of God, we connect in Christ-centered community.
The following Home Connection Groups are open to new members. Stop by and visit with them at our TFC "Taste of Connection," or contact them for more information:
BERGSAGEL/TAMKIN GROUP
Leaders: Jonathan & Becky Bergsagel, Andrew & Stephanie Tamkin
Meeting time: Saturday evenings, twice a month, 6:30-8:15 pm
Format: Families with kids, a time for discussion & prayer
BROWN GROUP
Leaders: Robert & Marllyn Brown
Meeting time:
* 2nd Saturday of the month for meal, sermon discussion, and prayer & share; 6:00-8:30 pm
* 4th Sunday afternoon/evening with families (kids included); probably 5-7 pm
COWAN/WEDEBERG GROUP
Leaders: Chad & Melissa Cowan; Dave & Allison Wedeberg
Meeting time:
* One Sunday each month with entire group for meal, sermon discussion & prayer; 5 pm
* One additional time each month for ladies & guys separately (TBD)
Children friendly: Kids are welcome but will play in a separate room.
HENDRICKS GROUP
Leaders: Chuck & Becky Hendricks
Meeting time: 1st & 3rd Sunday evenings, 5:30-7:30 pm., at Hendricks home in Lake Highlands
Format: varies, but always includes prayer & share
Children friendly: We include children & usually let them watch a video and have snacks while the adults meet.
KERSTETTER GROUP
Leaders: Bob & Nancy Kerstetter
Meeting time: 1st & 3rd Tuesday evening each month
Format: prayer, sharing, "Crazy Love" book discussion
LIN GROUP
Leaders: Bo & Katherine Lin
Meeting times:
* Entire group 2nd Sat. of the month for meal, sermon discussion & sharing & prayer.
* 4th Friday of the month men meet for breakfast.
* 4th Saturday of the month women meet for brunch.
SHURTLEFF GROUP
Leaders: Preston & Corbi Shurtleff
Meeting time: First 3 Tuesdays of each month during school year, 7-9:00 pm. Rotate houses.
Format: Snack/dessert & sharing and discussion (1st & 2nd Tuesdays). 3rd Tuesday--meal & sharing,
THOMPSON GROUP
Leaders: Andy & Whitney Thompson
Meeting time: 1st & 3rd Saturdays each month, 6-9 pm. Meet at Thompson's apt. near DTS. Will begin meeting Sept. 17th.
Format: Potluck dinner, book discussion (TBD), share & prayer
Age: All ages welcome 20-80! No childcare provided for those with children.
